Phoenix Academy of Excellence proudly participates in the USDA National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. These programs are designed to support student wellness and ensure every child has access to nutritious meals daily.

All meals served meet federal nutrition standards and are designed to fuel learning and support healthy development.

Are school meals free for all students?

Yes. Phoenix Academy of Excellence participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which provides free healthy breakfasts and lunches each school day for all enrolled students. Click here to read the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Parent Letter

Yes. While no student pays for meals, completing the application ensures the school receives full federal funding and access to additional academic resources.

If your child has a food allergy, please notify the school immediately and submit documentation from a healthcare provider. We will work with families to create a safe meal plan.

Yes. Students may bring their meals; however, we encourage participation in our nutritious school meal program.

Even though meals are free, all families must submit a Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application each school year. These applications help the school maintain federal funding and qualify for additional educational programs.
